LIMINA Terms of Service
Version: V1.0-en Published and effective: October 12, 2026 Operator and contracting entity: Shenzhen Xingyiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳星义元科技有限公司) Unified Social Credit Code: 91440300MAKATE3C6F
1. About these Terms
These Terms govern the international English-language service provided through the LIMINA app, website and related services by Shenzhen Xingyiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. ("LIMINA", "we", "us"). Our English company name is a translation of our registered Chinese name; both identify the same legal entity. These are operative terms for international users, not an unofficial translation of the mainland China terms. Mandatory protections in your place of residence continue to apply.
Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy before accepting them. Registration and login provide links to both documents and require an affirmative confirmation. We record the documents and versions accepted. Acceptance of these Terms is not permission for every use of personal data, third-party AI sharing, optional training or marketing. Additional notices and permissions apply where required.
2. Adults only
The international service is for people aged 18 or over who can enter into a binding contract under applicable law. If your local age of legal capacity is higher, you must also meet that requirement. You must not register or use the international service if you do not meet these requirements. Parental permission does not override this age restriction. We may restrict an ineligible account and handle its data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
3. Accounts and security
Use accurate information and only accounts and authentication methods you are entitled to use. Available sign-in methods depend on your platform and region. Keep your password, verification codes and devices secure. Do not sell, rent, transfer or share access to your account. Contact hjy@limina.me promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are not automatically responsible for actions caused by our fault or by another person's unlawful access.
You may request account deletion through Settings > Account and Security > Delete Account. The deletion screen explains the current processing steps and retained categories. See section 12 and the Privacy Policy for limitations, rights requests and support if you cannot sign in.
4. Services and availability
LIMINA includes AI conversation and creative tools, music, audio, images and video, personality and other exploratory experiences, MEMO diaries and recordings, cloud storage, community features, messaging, memberships and virtual service entitlements. Availability, limits and prices are those displayed for your platform, region and plan. A reference in these Terms does not mean every feature or payment method is available to you.
We may maintain, improve or change the service and its models. AI tasks may fail or be refused for technical, safety or legal reasons. We will address failed delivery, duplicate charges and unused reservations under the applicable purchase rules and law. Material changes that adversely affect paid entitlements require appropriate notice and remedies; a later change must not retroactively remove rights already validly granted for outputs.
5. Responsible use and community safety
Do not use LIMINA for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, harassment, threats, doxxing, sexual exploitation, child abuse, discriminatory hatred, terrorism, or encouragement of self-harm or violence. Do not impersonate someone, create deceptive endorsements, or generate non-consensual intimate imagery or unauthorized voice or likeness imitations. Do not circumvent safety measures, access controls, payment limits or required AI labels, attack the service, scrape private data, or introduce malicious code.
Do not submit another person's confidential or personal information without a lawful basis and necessary permissions. Do not use AI outputs to make unlawful or high-risk decisions about health, credit, employment, insurance or fundamental rights. Personality, BAZI, life-simulation and conversational features are for entertainment, creativity and general self-exploration, not medical care, psychological diagnosis, legal or financial advice, or emergency assistance. Seek qualified assistance for important decisions and contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
We may review reports, restrict distribution, remove content or suspend accounts for violations, taking account of severity, evidence and applicable law. You may report content or appeal to hjy@limina.me, identifying the content and explaining your concern. Available in-app report and blocking controls may also be used. We may act immediately where necessary to protect people or comply with law, and provide reasons and an opportunity to contest a decision where required.
6. Your inputs and AI outputs
You retain the rights you already hold in prompts, recordings, images, text and other inputs. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, limited to what is necessary to provide your requested processing, storage, moderation, playback, downloads and support. We may sublicense this limited permission to the service providers needed for those purposes. Private content does not become public merely because it is stored in LIMINA.
You must have the rights necessary to upload and process your material and to use the results. Buying a recording, subscribing to a streaming service, crediting an author, using material non-commercially or modifying it with AI does not itself supply copyright, performance, recording, synchronization, trademark, privacy, voice or likeness permissions. Obtain explicit authorization before using another identifiable person's voice, image or performance.
As between you and LIMINA, to the extent permitted by law and within the rights we can grant, you may use lawfully generated outputs for personal and commercial purposes. Expiry of a membership does not retroactively end that permission. This does not grant third-party rights in your inputs, exclusive rights in similar outputs, or rights to our software, brands or underlying third-party models. Rights in an output that can legally belong to you belong to you; we do not claim joint ownership merely for providing the service.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, non-unique or similar to existing work. Copyright protection depends on applicable law and the facts, including human creative contribution. We do not guarantee copyright eligibility, registration, exclusivity, non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, or acceptance by a distributor or marketplace. Review outputs and obtain any additional rights needed before publishing or commercial use.
7. Public content and distribution permission
Publishing is different from keeping content in your private workspace. When you choose to publish a work publicly, you grant LIMINA a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive distribution license, exercisable by LIMINA and sublicensable to necessary distribution partners, subject to the termination and deletion rules below. It covers reproduction, distribution, online communication, display, performance, playback, compilations, recommendations and promotion on LIMINA, our operated channels and partner distribution channels, including technical formatting, resizing and excerpts that do not change the work's basic expression. Unless separately agreed, no further payment is due for this permission.
When you delete a work, make it private or request that distribution stop, our permission to continue publicly distributing that work ends. When you request account deletion, we must stop new distribution of your associated content and, after necessary verification and cleanup, delete the account-associated data, including public works, posts and comments. We must instruct processors and necessary distribution partners to stop the relevant use and carry out their required cleanup. Records that must be retained by law and backups that cannot immediately be cleared are subject to the restrictions in the Privacy Policy; they are not a license to continue distribution. Merely ceasing use without requesting deletion, making content private or withdrawing distribution permission does not itself terminate a valid public license. You retain ownership and may continue to use or license your work. This permission does not authorize general-purpose model training, sale of ownership or a false endorsement using your identity. It cannot override mandatory consumer, privacy or personality rights. Copies independently saved by others are distinct from copies retained by us or our processors; we must assist with them where law requires. Private storage remains subject to section 6.
8. AI providers, labeling and data
Some tasks send necessary prompts, context, selected files, parameters and results to third-party AI or media-processing providers. The Privacy Policy describes these flows. A general agreement checkbox does not replace a required specific disclosure and explicit permission before sharing personal data with third-party AI. You may decline optional processing; a feature that needs the declined processing cannot perform that task.
These Terms do not authorize us to use private diaries, private messages, unpublished inputs or outputs, voices or likenesses for general-purpose model training or independent advertising. Such additional use requires a separate lawful basis and, where required, separate permission. Do not interpret this as a guarantee that every external provider has identical retention or training terms.
Preserve legally required AI-generated-content labels and provenance information. Disclose AI generation or alteration as required by law and the destination service. Do not falsely represent synthetic content as an authentic human recording, event or endorsement.
9. Membership, Purchases and Subscriptions
Before purchase, review the displayed price, currency, taxes where applicable, quantity, duration, limits, consumption rules and refund terms. Memberships, credits, storage units and other virtual entitlements provide specified services; they are not deposits, investment products or redeemable cash unless required by law or expressly stated. Do not assume that unused entitlements are transferable or indefinite.
Payment methods and product types vary by platform and country. For purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant store's billing, cancellation and refund procedures also apply, without removing your statutory rights or our responsibility for the service. Use that store's purchase-management tools for store-billed products. We do not receive your complete payment-card credentials from these purchases.
A purchase renews automatically only if the checkout expressly identifies it as an auto-renewing subscription and shows its renewal terms. Where offered, the checkout must disclose the billing interval, renewal price, trial or introductory period, when charging starts, and how to cancel. Cancel through the billing provider before the displayed renewal deadline to stop future charges. Uninstalling the app, signing out or deleting your LIMINA account does not itself cancel a store subscription. Manage Apple subscriptions at Apple subscriptions and Google Play subscriptions at Google Play subscriptions.
Refunds and cancellation rights depend on the product, billing provider and mandatory law. There is no blanket waiver of refunds for failed or defective services. Where a right to withdraw from a distance purchase applies, it remains available unless the legal requirements for its loss have been met, including any required separate express request to start performance and acknowledgment. Accepting these Terms alone does not waive that right. Contact the billing provider or hjy@limina.me for assistance.
10. Intellectual property complaints
Send complaints to hjy@limina.me with your name and contact information, identification of the protected work or right, the disputed content's URL or other precise location, supporting authorization or ownership information, an explanation and requested action, and a statement that your information is accurate and you are entitled to make the complaint. Include a signature and any additional declarations required by the applicable notice procedure. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or passwords.
We may request proportionate additional evidence, remove or restrict content, notify the affected user and process objections as required by law. A user disputing a removal may send the same address their contact details, the content location and supporting reasons. Repeated infringement can lead to termination. This contact route does not represent a claim that LIMINA has registered a US statutory DMCA agent.
11. Service quality and liability
We use reasonable care and skill to provide the service, subject to mandatory standards in your jurisdiction. Networks, software, cloud storage and AI systems can fail; keep independent copies of important work. We do not promise uninterrupted service or permanent access to every stored file. These qualifications do not excuse our failure to meet legal or contractual security, delivery or data-protection obligations.
Responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law, considering causation, foreseeability and each party's conduct. We do not impose a universal nominal compensation cap on consumers. To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable; this does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, unlawful personal-data processing, personal injury or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be restricted. A supplier's involvement does not automatically release us from our own obligations to you.
12. Ending the service and deletion
You may stop using LIMINA or request account deletion. Export important content first. We must delete the data associated with your account, including public works, posts, comments, messages and other user content, when completing your deletion request, except records that applicable law requires us to retain. Necessary identity checks and cleanup may require reasonable time, manual assistance and coordination with processors or distribution partners. We must explain the expected timing, any delay and the outcome; disabling an account or removing its identifiers alone does not fulfill this obligation. Backups temporarily awaiting necessary rotation must be isolated and unavailable for continued use or distribution. Contact hjy@limina.me if you cannot complete the request in the app or find remaining content; this additional route does not remove our duty to complete an accepted request. See the Privacy Policy for legal retention, independently saved copies and subscription cancellation. We do not represent that all cleanup is automatic or instantaneous. Statutory deletion rights remain unaffected.
We may suspend or terminate access for material violations or legal necessity, with proportionate notice and remedies where required. If we permanently withdraw paid services, we will give legally required notice and address unused paid entitlements, data export and deletion. Accrued payment obligations, intellectual-property rights, legally required retention and dispute rights survive only to the extent lawful. No survival provision extends a distribution permission that has ended under section 7 or overrides our deletion obligations.
13. Changes, law and your consumer rights
We will identify new versions and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where law requires fresh consent or acceptance, continued use alone is not a substitute. Material adverse changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China, without depriving you of mandatory consumer or data-protection rights under the law that otherwise applies where you habitually reside. You may contact us to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a precondition to statutory remedies. You may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law, including your local courts where consumer law so provides. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, exclusive foreign jurisdiction or a waiver of complaints to regulators. For this international service, this English version applies; the mainland Chinese version does not override it. Any mandatory local-language requirement or more protective mandatory law prevails.
